Dieter and I have decided to just take the train going to Krabi because...
1) we've got some heavy baggage - a result of doing much of the wedding yourself
2) we figured we can save some money
3) it'll be fun - we've taken the night train before and we really enjoyed it. The countryside is breathtaking.
We're taking the night train on Wednesday (Jan 19) and get off at Surat Thani. From there, we'll catch a bus to Krabi.
So far, the people who are tagging along for the ride are my eldest brother Luigi and his family, my younger brother RJ, and my cousin Russel. Let us know if you want to come along! We can drink and play the guitar all the way there.
In case you're wondering, we'll take AirAsia to fly back to Bangkok on Sunday (Jan 23).
