Why not Texas? Why not Manila? To that we say: because this is where we fell in love. As much as we would love for all of our nearest and dearest to be with us on this momentous occasion, it would be ridiculously impractical to have a wedding in three countries.

Why not Bangkok? To that we say: Well, why settle for an overpriced wedding in the confines of a cold, carpeted hotel in Bangkok when you can have a wedding with a beautiful sunset as backdrop, white powdery sand to walk on, and the calming sound of the waves crashing on the shore?

We figured it will cost the same (if not cheaper), not to mention infinitely more interesting, to get married in the islands. We also want to hit two birds with one stone: a wedding and a vacation for everybody.

A total no-brainer. It makes perfect sense.

But truth be told, we were hesitant to have a beach wedding. It just felt too cliche for us. But then again, we've always thought of ourselves as creative individuals who are perfectly capable of throwing a party that will reflect our unique quirky personalities. And with that, we aim to put a personal stamp on everything that we do for what we deem as the biggest, greatest, most awesome party we'll ever throw for ourselves in our entire lives.

So far, it's been a blast putting this whole shebang together. 6 months to go!
